Accessibility statement

Our commitment to accessible content, the WCAG 2.1 AA standard we work toward, and how to report a barrier so we can fix it.

Last updated July 1, 2026

Couple Therapy Guide is committed to making our content usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification. Accessible design also makes the site clearer for everyone.

Standards we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means we work toward:

Ongoing work

Accessibility is a continuing effort, not a one-time fix. We review new templates and components for accessibility and correct issues as we find them. Because our content is updated regularly, occasional gaps can appear — and we rely partly on reader reports to catch them.

Known limitations

Some older embedded content and third-party resources we link to may not fully meet our accessibility target. Where a third-party resource is essential, we try to describe it in accessible text or offer an alternative.

Report a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us so we can fix it. Email accessibility@coupletherapyguide.com with the page URL, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We treat these reports as a priority and will acknowledge your message.

This statement covers accessibility of the website only. It is not medical advice. In an emergency call 911; for a mental-health crisis call or text 988.
